Hi, my name is Tommy Vitone and my friend J Cekauskas, who I’ve known for over 50 years, needs your help. We grew up together dreaming about our futures, and he’s one of the kindest, most humble human beings I have ever met. Both JC and I are God-fearing men, and our faith has helped us through many challenges. I’m starting this GoFundMe because I can’t stand by any longer and watch my friend, who has lost everything, lose any more. For over five years, JC has faced unimaginable hardship after a devastating divorce. He lost his business, his home, and, most painfully, his daughter, whom he hasn’t seen in a year and a half. His character has been unfairly questioned, and he’s been accused of things that are complete lies. Even after being exonerated by the police, the emotional and financial toll has been overwhelming. His Social Security is still being misused by the system, and with no other source of income, legal bills, automotive bills, insurance, and rent are piling up on credit cards. I have walked through all of this with JC, and it’s time for good, honest, caring people to help. JC is trying to get back on his feet, but every time he makes progress, he’s knocked down again. The emotional toll has been immense, and it’s heartbreaking to see someone so genuine and kind go through such a difficult time.
