Support JC Duncan's Mission to Rwanda March 2025

Hi! I am JC Duncan, and as many of you know, I am currently a full-time graduate student at Liberty University (LU) to become a Clinical Mental Health Counselor. As such, I have an incredible opportunity next Spring to do a mission trip with LU Send to Rwanda to study and support crisis counseling, substance abuse prevention, and family counseling through the hearts of the Rwandan people in Kigali. It’s been 30 years since the Rwandan genocide, and this resilient country has become an incredible example of what’s possible with God’s grace in healing generational trauma and peacefully rebuilding communities affected by extreme violence.

I am humbly asking for the love, prayers, and financial support of my amazing community of family and friends to help make this trip possible. This service learning trip is through Liberty U and will be supplemental to my trauma and crisis counseling studies but at an additional cost of tuition. Trauma counseling is my area of interest and was also my emphasis in undergrad. As a future clinician in counseling, I am especially interested in serving multicultural communities suffering from generational/historical trauma here at home, as well as veterans and first responders.
