My name is Ms. Almanzar, and I have the incredible privilege of coaching the Junior Varsity Cheerleading team at Jonas Bronck Academy (JBA) in the Bronx, NY. Today, I'm reaching out to share the amazing journey our young athletes have been on and ask for your support as we take the next exciting step forward.

Our Story So Far

Two years ago, we launched something special at JBA – our very first cheerleading program. What started as a dream has blossomed into a source of tremendous pride for our school and community. Through the generous support of people like you, we've already raised over $3,400, which has allowed us to provide uniforms for our cheerleaders and create countless opportunities for them to build school spirit throughout our community. Our talented athletes have brought energy and excitement to numerous school events, including the LEAP showcase and basketball games, lighting up every room they enter. But their impact extends far beyond our school walls – they've represented JBA with pride at district-wide events, performing for families across our community and supporting fellow middle school cheerleading teams with true sportsmanship and spirit.

Equip Every New Cheerleader for Success

Every incoming team member deserves to feel confident and unified. We want to provide complete uniforms – from bow to toe – ensuring no athlete is left behind due to financial barriers.

Invest in Cheerleading Opportunities

We're exploring cheer clinics that will help our athletes develop advanced skills, build confidence, and learn from experienced coaches and mentors.

Make History with Our First Competition

For the 2025-26 season, we're thrilled to announce our goal of entering our team into their very first cheerleading competition! This milestone represents not just athletic achievement, but a chance for our students to experience the thrill of competition, build lasting friendships, and create memories that will last a lifetime.
