JB is a stray cat in my neighborhood who has been through more than most cats ever will. A little over a year ago, JB was injured and needed urgent vet care, which me and my neighbor managed to provide despite the high cost. After his recovery, JB returned to his usual self, roaming the neighborhood and only trusting a few people—myself and my neighbor.
JB is feral, but I was able to get him neutered and vaccinated through Operation Johnson Kitty, a local program that helps stray cats. Even though I’ve tried to keep him indoors for his safety, JB is restless and always wants to be outside. He’s gentle with me, but makes it clear when he needs his freedom.
Recently, JB stopped eating and drinking, and he’s been sleeping all day. I’m worried about him, but I can’t afford another vet visit right now. There’s a clinic nearby called All Tails, and the exam and care will help JB get back on his feet. Any help you can give would mean the world to JB and to us. He’s not just any cat—he’s a survivor, and your support could help him get the care he needs to keep going.
