For anyone who is reading, and may not know, John Babula, “JB” was diagnosed with stage 4 stomach cancer this summer.  JB has been an employee of the Friend Community Healthcare System for 10 years.  As Maintenance Lead, JB has worked on pretty much everything and every component that makes this facility run. He is kind hearted, caring and a joy to be around.  His children come first and he works very hard to be a good father to his three children, Johnny, Ronnie and Katelyn. 

JB is currently fighting through chemotherapy which is scheduled through late October.  He is a strong-willed man but the treatment is taking a toll on his body.  He works as often as he can, and employees will be donating Personal Time Off in support. However, medical expenses, even with his insurance coverage are now exceeding what JB can handle on his own.

His family and friends are asking for help to offset the financial burden of his medical and living expenses. Our hope is that JB will be able to return to the quality of life he desires and deserves.
