Hi everyone,

I’m starting this fundraiser on behalf of my dear friend Jazzmine and her incredible mom, who are currently facing a medical and financial crisis that no one could’ve prepared for.

A few weeks ago, Jazzmine’s mom was hospitalized for a wound that wouldn’t heal. What started as a simple concern quickly escalated—her body began to shut down, and doctors discovered her kidney function had dropped below 10%. She is now dependent on dialysis five times a week and is working toward getting strong enough for a future kidney transplant.

In addition to dialysis, Jazzmine’s mom is in a rehabilitation center learning how to walk, stand, and move again. She lost most of her mobility and was in the hospital for over a month before being transferred to the rehab facility. It’s been an incredibly tough journey.

Unfortunately, because she had been employed at her job for less than a year, she doesn’t qualify for FMLA or medical leave benefits. That means Jazzmine is now the sole provider, trying to keep up with rent, utilities, groceries, and now medical-related expenses—all on her own.

We’re humbly asking for help to raise money to cover:

• Transportation to and from dialysis (which must be done by a medical van)

• Nursing home and rehabilitation costs

• Outstanding hospital bills

Jazzmine and her mom are incredibly strong, proud people, and asking for help is not easy for them. But any support—no matter how small—would make a world of difference right now. Whether you’re able to donate, share, or simply keep them in your thoughts, it all matters.
