I am 28 years old and living with lupus, chronic kidney disease, and heart failure. My days are filled with dialysis treatments three to four times a week, and the hospital has become like a second home to me. I am in and out due to flare-ups, fluid build-ups, bone inflammation, and joint locks. Through it all, I am doing my best to stay strong and hopeful, even when things feel overwhelming.
Because of my health, I am unable to work. I do what I can—organizing fundraisers, making paintings, and selling things—to make ends meet, but it’s not enough. My pride has kept me from asking for help before, but now I have no other choice. My insurance doesn’t cover the full cost of a kidney transplant, and I am ready to start a new, healthy life so I can be there for myself in every way I need.
Anything you can give is a blessing, whether it’s a donation, a prayer, a share, or even a kind message. Your support means the world to me. I can’t give up now, so I’m reaching out to my loved ones, friends, supporters, and family—please help me reach my goal for a healthier life. God bless you.
