Hiya, I am Jazmin (it/she) and I need help paying for the legal fees of changing my name to align with my gender identity. I am currently between work and struggling to find anything, and with a legal name change, I feel I will be discriminated less on job applications and to make sure I can legally change my name to align with my identity before it certainly isn't possible nationally.

The fees for the name change could be waived, but the copies, new IDs, social security card, birth certificate etc still cost

$50 for dead name birth certificate (lost mine in a move)

$60 for copies of name change (its $5ish each need 10ish)

$50 for new name birth certificate,

$40 for copies

$50ish for ids

$30 for transport
