Hello everyone. My name is Niah, and I'm running this project on behalf of one of the PNW's best visual wizards, Jayson Esguerra.
On October 20th, Jayson went to the storage site where he was storing almost all of his rental equipment for his rental company, Pulse. When he got there, he found his storage area almost completely empty. Lights, trussing, boxes of cables, everything of value was gone; over $12,000 worth of lighting equipment. Below is a full list of the items that were taken.
Jayson has for years been a staple of the PNW electronic music scene. His work reaches across states, venues, and genres, from small clubs to the Gorge Amphitheatre. He is one of the most hard working, dedicated, and talented people in the community and this theft is a blow not only to him, but to every artist and event attendee that benefits from getting to see his work.
With this Gofundme, we are hoping to raise money to help Jayson recoup some of these losses and replace as much of this gear as possible. Any dollar amount helps cover the cost of something small like cables, or adds up to cover large items like trusses. There is still hope that some of it will be found, or that insurance will cover a portion of the loss. If either of these things happen, any money not needed to replace the rest of the stolen equipment will be returned to the donators.
Here is a list of the items taken, along with their approximate values:
If you have ever worked with Jayson, you know how hard he works and how much he deserves better than this. If you haven't, I can almost guarantee you've seen his work and not known it. Let's try to band together and help him get back to making shows better for all of us.
