My childhood friend Jay has only days left to live. Not only has cancer stripped him of his life, but also his finances. He’s in excruciating pain, but literally hanging on by a string in hopes to hold on long enough to witness his last and final wish come true.
My name is Dawn, and my family and I have known Jay since childhood. He’s one of the kindest, most good hearted people I’ve known. Jay has been fighting cancer with unbelievable courage, but the cancer has now run rampant throughout his body. Pain is absolutely unbearable but he’s held off on hospice for one reason…..Judy.
For the past almost 40 years, Jay and his beloved girlfriend Judy have shared a life full of love, laughter, up’s and down's and quiet strength. Sadly, cancer has taken not only his health but also all of their savings. Through endless treatments and hospital stays, they’ve used everything they had to fight for his life.
Jay’s final wish before he passes is simple: he wants to know that Judy will be okay. That she’ll have enough finances to cover rent, groceries, and just breathe without panic as she grieves.
We’re hoping to raise with your help $10,000 to give Judy a small financial cushion — a way to ease at least one piece of the pain she’s about to face. Every single dollar helps, and every share makes a difference.
Please help us fulfill Jay’s last wish by donating or sharing this link with your community. Let’s surround Jay and Judy with the love, peace, and kindness they’ve shown others for so many years.
Please help this man provide his partner and love of almost 40 years, Judy, the security of a small nest egg to get back on her feet once he’s gone.
We’re asking for your help to raise only $10,000 within the next few days. We are in a race with time now as Jay is in his final days.
Jay is a good man. His bravery and selfless soul throughout this battle has been one we all have learned and continue to learn much from.
Please, won’t you participate in a simple act of kindness, of giving? Of just simply giving back? Giving back to a really, really good cause? Let’s send Jay off with peace of mind and comfort.
Every dollar helps. Please share this widely — even $10 makes a difference. Thank you all in advance. This means more than you will ever know.
Let’s give Jay peace of mind in his final days.
Thank you, from the bottom of our hearts.
