My name is Twilla, I am writing the story to request for help for my daughter Jayonna who 18. Jay was ambitious, fun, outgoing, athletic and a sweet girl, who is now suffering from a severe car accident. She is suffering from blunt force trauma to the Carotid artery, a fractured skull (right occipital condyle and the vertebrae C1/C2), pulmonary contusions and heart contusions. Jayonna, fractured her fibula and tibia which she had surgery on and now has metal plates and screws holding it together. Not only does she have these injuries, she also nearly bit her tongue off. I'm grateful that they sewed it back together and she is able to talk and eat and taste. However, we now have my daughter home and she is still suffering. Jay is not only suffering from pain but she is dealing with a traumatic brain injury and doesn't understand what is going on. I am asking for help for hospital bills and continuation of care that specialize with Traumatic Brain Injuries. I am forever grateful my daughter is alive and home now but we are still needing the help and will be greatly appreciated with anything that we can help. My daughter is needing a great deal of specialized care for now and the future.
