Help Jayne Appeal A Wrongful Conviction

Our goal is to raise money so Jayne Carbone can hire an educated, reputable appeal's attorney. Jayne's initial lawsuit was handled by a court appointed lawyer and we feel she did not get the justice she deserves.

This GoFundMe was organized by her very good friend Diane Carroll Oriole.

We don’t often get the chance to fix something that went so terribly wrong. Unfortunately Jayne was wrongly convicted of 2 federal charges that she was a scapegoat for. It is a sad statistic that the federal prosecution has a 92% conviction rate. Without being able to afford a reputable lawyer, she had no other alternative than to go with the public defender's office, who are overworked and understaffed. If we are able to raise money with this GoFundMe page, she will be able to hire a professional appeals lawyer that would fight for Jayne and undo this terrible misjustice. Jayne needs to stay where she belongs, which is HOME with her FAMILY, not in prison. She has 3 amazing children who need their mother.

We ask you to HELP Jayne WIN this blatant bogus attack on her. We know that she has fearlessly stood up for all of us at one time or another. Jayne has always been a hard working person, a good friend to everyone and an outstanding mother and wife.
