Help Jayme Find Hope Through This Unimaginable Loss

Story

Early morning on September 23, 2024, our beloved friend Jayme received a phone call regarding her soulmate, Woody. While at work in Washington, Woody faced a severe stroke that caused him to go paralyzed, which then resulted in him losing consciousness. Woody was able to text HELP to a group chat where his coworker proceeded to call 911. Woody was taken to a small hospital first, but then got transported to Swedish Cherry Hill hospital where they found a blood clot that had totally damaged his pons and spinal cord part of his brain. Jayme immediately flew to Seattle with uncertainty of knowing if he was going to survive. When she arrived, the doctors proceeded to tell her there was no hope for Woody's survival. On September 26, 2024, Jayme had to make a decision no spouse ever wants to make. This tragedy occurred shortly after she lost her father, leaving her with a great sense of loss and grief. Woody was Jayme’s life, as Jayme was Woody’s. Jayme and Woody found each other and together they healed from previous trauma and tragedy. Over the last 5 years, they would become each other’s passion and love, and together build a new life filled with joy and happiness. Outstretched with love, laughter, their children, and grandchildren. However, their journey was cut short due to Woody's untimely passing, leaving Jayme with a heavy heart and an uncertain future. In the face of tragedy, we can find solace in the love and support of our community. Let us come together to help Jayme, who has lost her partner and soulmate, and is now facing the risk of homelessness. We can make a difference by contributing to her GoFundMe campaign, which aims to cover funeral expenses and mortgage payments. Every little bit counts, and together, we can ensure that Jayme and her family can stay in their home and build a brighter future. Please donate now if you’re able, and/or share this message with others. Anything helps. With Heartfelt Gratitude ~Samantha Sturgeon on behalf of Jayme and her family.
