Hello! My name’s Jaylon. I’m a 23 year old trans woman and student from the DMV area. I’ve been on HRT for two and a half years and self-reliant for my transition since I started. Though I have been supported by friends and family, I have been directly responsible for covering the financial aspects of my transition including hormones, doctors visits, therapy, etc.

I’m currently looking into bottom surgery and while my insurance is able to cover some of the surgery, this fund is to help covering any remaining costs and my recovery after surgery.

I will be out of work for some months afterwards since my job requires manual labor such as lifting boxes and standing for prolonged periods, so I will not be able to benefit from my only source of income.

While I am at home healing, I will still have to meet my needs for rent, food, bills, travel for check ups, as well as purchases for school and taking care of my cat, Calypso. Any sort of funds or even sharing this would be very much appreciated.
