Help Jaylon Finish His 220-Lb Weight Loss Journey

Hi, my name is Jaylon, and thank you for taking a moment to read this.

After losing 220 lbs, I’m now ready to start the final stage of my weight loss journey — excess loose skin removal surgery. The loose skin on my chest, back, and waist causes daily physical and mental discomfort and is something that can’t be fixed with diet and exercise. Unfortunately, this also isn’t something that insurance will cover, since it isn’t deemed “medically necessary.” While I'm able to cover a portion of it myself, I need help closing the gap.

For more context, I’ve struggled with my weight for as long as I can remember. I was already 200 lbs by the time I was 9 years old, and from that point forward, my entire life became one long attempt to lose weight. I tried everything — every diet, every plan, every approach, but nothing was enough.

By 21 years old, I reached my highest weight of 410 lbs. At that point, my health was declining fast; however, I was blessed with the chance to get the vertical sleeve gastrectomy. It wasn’t something I had planned for, but it was deemed medically necessary. And ultimately, it ended up saving my life.

After the surgery, I completely changed my lifestyle. I committed to strict dieting, disciplined workouts, and real consistency. With that effort, I lost 220 pounds.

This transformation gave me my life back — physically, mentally, and emotionally. But after such a major weight loss, I was left with severe loose skin on my chest, back, and waist. It affects my confidence, my mobility, and even simple daily comfort. At this point, reconstructive skin-removal surgery is the only way for me to fully complete the journey I worked so hard for.

I’ve already been evaluated thanks to Dr. Askari and the awesome team at Revive Surgical Institute, and the total cost for the surgery, travel, and recovery supplies is about $26,000. I’m fronting a portion myself, but I need help closing the gap in a safe, realistic way.

If you’re able to donate or even share this campaign, it would mean more than I can express. I don’t take anyone’s support for granted. Thank you for helping me finish what I started. ❤️
