Jaylin recently had to go through a devastating divorce and is now having to raise funds to match half of her home's value to give to her ex.
Jaylin is a trans woman, and her transition sparked conflict from her ex, who wanted to halt Jaylin's transition to ensure the ability to make a child with her.
After allowing a pause on her transition, Jaylin was the main provider of the household and caretaker for their child, until her ex handed her their rings, took all the belongings she could, and kept her from seeing their child for years.
After a lengthy divorce and Jaylin fighting to keep her child in her life, she was awarded 50/50 custody. But now she is unsure if she will have a place to stay and raise her child; she may have to sell her home in order to pay out.
Jaylin is a hardworking, smart, and loving mother. She graduated college with a love for science and nature.
Any support that anyone who might be able to lend in these dire times, for queer mothers especially, is greatly appreciated, and we thank you for helping keep her from losing her home.
