Jaylin has been nominated by her Social Studies teacher to attend the Junior National Young Leaders Conference in Washington, DC this summer. She was recognized for her scholastic merit, maturity, and strength in character to represent her school. The Conference is a 6 day event where she will learn to become a better leader by setting clear goals, improving communication skills, solving complex problems, and building effective teams. She, along with other middle school students across the country, will practice their teamwork and public speaking skills while creating their own student-led grassroots organization in the Voices of Change project. Money collected will help to cover Jaylin's tuition for the event, flight to and from Washington, DC, and proper attire for the event. Thank you for your support!
