Help Support 18-Year-Old Jaylen Recovery

On the night of November 2nd, our family’s world changed in an instant. My son, 18-year-old Jaylen Jordan, was tragically shot in the abdomen. The bullet severely damaged a major organ. Since then, Jaylen has been in critical condition, fighting every single day.

Doctors have told us that Jaylen’s road to recovery will be long, difficult, and full of challenges. He will likely need months of hospitalization and rehabilitation, relearning basic things like walking, eating, and caring for himself again. This will not be a fast or easy journey — but we believe in his strength, his spirit, and God’s healing.

Throughout all of this, As his mother I have not left his side. I am a single mother and Jaylen is my only child. Being at the hospital around the clock means I have been unable to work, even as the bills continue to pile up — medical bills, home bills, groceries, and daily living needs. No parent should ever have to choose between caring for their child and keeping a roof over their head.
