Hi! My name is Shawnda. The picture you see is of my amazing, kind, smart, talented & beautiful daughter Jayla.

Jayla is going into her junior year @ Hampton University in the MBA business program. She has been excelling the past 2 years, keeping her grades up (honor roll) while being a part of the Pirates cheer team and also maintaining an active social life.

Unfortunately, with me as a single mom, our family's finances have changed. Financial aid and scholarships are just not cutting it. Jayla receives an academic scholarship in the amount of $7500, but with my credit not being where it was, I don’t qualify for a parent loan this year to cover the rest of her tuition.
