My name is Jayla, and I’m a proud member of the Golden Girl dance team at my high school. Dancing has been my passion since I was a child, and I’ve worked hard every year to earn my place on the team. I started dancing in seventh grade on the band dance team, always striving to improve and show my dedication. Now, as a junior, I’m honored to represent my school and community as a Golden Girl, sharing my love for dance and the pride I feel in my achievements.
This year, I’m facing a challenge that could keep me from continuing with the team. My parents have
been making small payments toward my dance account balance, but meeting the full amount for camp clothes, uniforms, dance shoes, and boots has become difficult. If I can’t pay the balance, I’ll be dismissed from the team and won’t be able to dance again until my senior year. Dancing with the Golden Girls means everything to me—it’s my way of showing my school spirit, building confidence, and working toward my dreams for the future.
Your support would help me stay on the team for my fifth year in a row, allowing me to keep representing my school and inspiring others with my dedication. I’m deeply grateful for any help, and every donation brings me closer to reaching my goals. Thank you to my school district for this opportunity, and thank you to everyone who supports me. Your generosity gives me the encouragement to keep working hard, not just for this year, but as I look ahead to my senior year and even the possibility of dancing in college. I’m excited to see what the future holds as a Golden Girl!
