Help Jayla attend the HBCU Black Empowerment Tour

Hello everyone! My name is Tyra Dubose and I'm requesting help to send my niece Jayla Walker to the LYT HBCU Black Empowerment Tour in the Spring of 2024. She lost her mother at the tender age of 15 in September 2022 and has continued to amaze me with her dedication to education even in the face of an unbearable loss. She is an incredible kid with a bright future and a kind heart. I'd like to nurture her passion for learning by asking my village to donate to an experience that will change her life. I have no doubt she will continue to make us all proud.

Here's why Jayla would like to attend an HBCU in her own words,

"I would like to attend an HBCU so I can be around people who look like me. I feel attending an HBCU will be an empowering experience and will help me understand I am not alone."
