Help Jayden Walk Again – Support Her Life Changing Surgery
Spende geschützt
Hello kind souls,
My name is Allyson Blomgren, and I’m writing this with a heart full of hope on behalf of a beautiful young girl named Jayden, and her loving, devoted mother, Kristi.
Jayden came into this world in August 2009—healthy, radiant, and full of life. As a toddler, she hit every milestone, ran freely, laughed often, and brought joy to everyone around her. She had the kind of light you could feel just by being near her.
But when Jayden was just six years old, that light began to dim—not in spirit, but in physical strength. Kristi noticed Jayden’s walk had changed. Her gait became wobbly, then painful. Doctors told her it might pass. But it didn’t.
What started as a small concern turned into years of struggle.
Jayden was eventually diagnosed with severe bilateral hip dysplasia, and by the age of 10, she had endured two major hip surgeries. Still, the pain persisted. She could no longer stand without support. Then she stopped walking altogether. Since 2020, Jayden has been in a wheelchair, her days filled with courage, discomfort, and unwavering resilience.
In 2021, a deeper answer came: Morquio A Syndrome (MPS IV)—a rare, progressive genetic condition that affects bones, joints, and organs. This explained why her surgeries hadn’t worked and why her pain kept getting worse.
Despite this, Jayden has never stopped hoping.
In 2022, she began enzyme therapy to slow the progression of the disease. It has helped her body, but not her mobility. What Jayden dreams of most—what she deserves—is the chance to stand, to walk, and to live without pain.
After years of searching and prayers, Jayden’s team found a specialist: Dr. Mackenzie at Nemours Children’s Hospital in Delaware. He’s one of the few in the country with experience treating children with Morquio Syndrome. After months of denials, tears, and persistence, insurance has finally approved her to have the first of two life-changing hip replacement surgeries—with the second scheduled in 2026.
This is her chance. The first real chance she’s had in years.
How You Can Help
Kristi has given up everything to care for her daughter—her time, her career, her peace of mind. She is Jayden’s full-time caregiver, chauffeur, nurse, and prayer warrior. And now, they need us.
Your support will go directly toward:
✈️ Travel to Delaware for surgery
Hotel stays, food, and rental car
Medical expenses not fully covered by insurance
Several months of physical therapy
Loss of income while Kristi cares for Jayden
Her second surgery, expected in March 2026
We are humbly asking for your support—whether through a donation, a share, or a prayer. Every act of kindness brings Jayden one step closer to walking again and living without pain.
From the bottom of my heart, and on behalf of Kristi and Jayden, thank you for helping us make this long-awaited miracle possible.
With love and gratitude,
Allyson Blomgren
