Hello everyone. My name is Luis and my wife is Maria. We have an amazing 17yr old son named Jayden. Jayden has worn glasses since he was in elementary school. He has astigmatism, and a different shaped corneal. In the last 13mths his eye sight has declined more and more. We thought it was just due to his prescription needing to be updated abit, but when we took him to his annual eye appointment, they have diagnosed him with keratoconus. Tho rare, he has gone blind in his right eye, and his left eye is declining more each day. Tho he has insurance, this surgery is not fully covered. And we are trying to save money anyway we can! He has a dream of joining the military, but as of now that is on hold. He is a wrestler at durant high school, and it has been difficult for him to continue doing the sport he loves so much.
