Help Jayden & Kali with Jayden’s recovery

On 08/05/2025, Jayden unfortunately got hit with electricity while working. 25% of his body is burnt (head, arms, upper back). He was life lighted from OSF to Springfield to get treatment. He is currently in Springfield at their burn clinic being treated for the burns.

Today (08/06/2025) they’re closely watching his heart and kidneys as they both spiked last night. His heart rate now is higher than yesterday. They are watching his urine output as well, he is on constant iv fluids and his output has dropped the past couple hours. His face is very swollen today, one of his eyes is swollen shut. The doctor did say that new burns, blisters and swelling will keep appearing over the next couple of days. The doctor was very happy to see him eating and drinking. The other doctor and plastic surgery team will be in this morning to see him and depending on everything stated above and their judgement, he may be getting moved out of the icu today.

We are asking people to donate or even to just share this post, Kali will be needing time off work to help Jayden with his road to recovery, and Jayden also will not be able to work while he is recovering. We want to take as much stress off their plates as we can, so they can focus on Jayden getting better!
