Hey everyone, We never imagined we’d be in this position, but we’re asking for help as our family goes through one of the hardest times of our lives. Last month, we spent two weeks in the hospital while our son Jayden had a catheter procedure to try to fix a valve in his heart. After two attempts, doctors had to perform open heart surgery to replace his valve. Watching our child go through that was something no parent is ever prepared for. We hoped things would start getting easier, but sadly we are now back in the hospital after Jayden developed an infection. Right now, we don’t know how long this stay will be. This has been incredibly hard on Jayden emotionally. He’s scared, exhausted, and doesn’t want us to leave his side, so one of us is always with him. Being here with him is non negotiable, but it has also meant missing a lot of work while bills and expenses continue to pile up. Between hospital stays, lost income, food, parking, and miscellaneous expenses for Jayden we’re doing our best to stay afloat, but it’s becoming overwhelming. Anything you’re able to give, or even just sharing this, truly helps more than we can say. Right now our only focus is helping Jayden heal and get through this, and your support helps us be there for him when he needs us most on this long recovery.
