Help Jayden Heal After Devastating Crash

9/30/24 Update: Jayden had his 5th surgery today and is being kept sedated at this time to help manage his pain.

On Tuesday, September 24th, Jayden Hauser (18 y.o.) was headed to work at 6:45 am when he was involved in a motorcycle crash where he flew through the air and was ultimately run over and dragged by a utility boom truck at the merging of Rte 3 and Rte 97 headed to Annapolis. He was pinned under the vehicle and it’s a miracle he is still alive. He was taken to shock trauma where his right arm was amputated below the elbow and surgical measures were taken to stabilize his crushed pelvis. He has damage to his kidneys, pancreas, liver, and spleen, as well as traumatic road rash on his hip where he was dragged by the vehicle before it stopped. Jayden has undergone three surgeries already and is currently in ICU considered critical but stable. He has another surgery scheduled tomorrow and will continue to need orthopedic surgeons to reconstruct his pelvis.

Jayden’s father is a veteran and his parents are members of Bikers For Cause Foundation where they have dedicated their spare time to helping Veterans, First Responders, and their community.
