Help Jayden Fight Cancer at St. Jude
Donation protected
This is my great nephew Jayden Hart. He is an 11-year-old student at Marksville Elementary School. We were told some very unfortunate news yesterday following up on a surgery from Monday to remove a lump from his upper eyelid. We were told from biopsy results that it is a malignant cancer and will be going to St. Jude’s for treatments and a full work-up on Jayden. We have not received any kind of cancer typing or stage yet because the eye doctor believes that it is something else and not just the eye tumor he removed. He will be traveling to and from St. Jude with his family to get him there. His parents currently do not have a vehicle of their own and have very limited resources on hand. Only one parent works in the household to provide for five children. Any donations and help are kindly appreciated to help get them there to St. Jude so he can receive the best medical care that he deserves. We are doing what we can for them, but any help would be amazing!
Update:
Jayden has received the diagnosis of B Cell Acute Leukemia along with the malignant tumor in his eye being a separate cancer. We will also have stage diagnosis at some point today. He and his mother Ashley Dodge will be staying at St Jude for a minimum of a year to start. They have a very long road ahead of them. Ashley has no means of transportation as of now which is why we are increasing the goal amount to help resolve this problem for her. She also has 4 other children here in La that she won’t be able to see for a while, so keep them all in your prayers. She has never been separated from her children for any amount of time much less a year. Any help and donations are truly, deeply appreciated. This is going to be a huge transition for them all.
