Help Jayden Compete in International Karate

My name is Jayden, and I’ve been on my Karate journey for about two and a half years. This year, I’m hoping to achieve my first black belt—a goal I’ve been working toward with a lot of dedication and passion. Karate means so much to me: it’s about building strength, confidence, and carrying an ancient tradition into the new world. I love the challenge, and I’m excited to compete at a high level, even though I know it won’t be easy at first.

I recently joined our dojo's competition team, where we train in Shito Ryu Karate. Shito Ryu is one of the few styles that also teaches traditional weapons like Bo, Kama, Sai, Tonfa, and Sword. Having the chance to learn and compete in both Karate and weapons divisions is an amazing opportunity for me to grow as a martial artist.

My first big competition is coming up in February, and there are more events throughout the year. These opportunities are incredible, but they also come with a lot of expenses—like a competition-style Gi, equipment, flights, sign-up fees, and hotels. My parents have always supported me, but I wanted to find a way to contribute to the costs as this is a big financial commitment.

That’s why I’m reaching out for support. Every contribution, no matter the size, will help me take these important steps in my Karate journey. Your support will not only help me compete, but also teach me about responsibility, hard work, and what it means to grow up. Thank you for believing in me and helping me chase my dreams!
