My name is Raiff Gwinnett and this is a little story about my son, Jayden Gwinnett. Jayden has been admitted to the hospital three times this year. We are still trying to figure out what is wrong with him, and I am sure we will be having a few more visits.

What really stood out to my wife and I at both Banner Desert and Phoenix Children's Hospital were all the child life visitors, playroom and toys shared with the admitted children. Jayden loved playing in the room and receiving gifts from the doctors when he had to have a procedure done.

Honestly, the kids' playroom, I think, helped him so much and I was amazed at how many children were using it. It was a great way for them to take their mind off of what was really going on.

I am raising funds so I can support Phoenix Children's Hospital by donating money so they can buy new toys and add stuff for all the other children to use.

I will be raising funds by running my first ever Marathon in February. I am not sure what I am getting into, but I want to help give back to the hospitals and community as much as I can.
