Help Jayde back to her feet post Pfizer
Donation protected
Jayde is 30 years old and was a fit and healthy mum of our beautiful 3 year old.
On the 29th September she received her Pfizer vaccination to keep her job as it became mandatory. She suffered from an adverse reaction and has been admitted to hospital 6 times with severe chest pain, severe dizziness, headaches, body numbness and tremors. The hospital left her sitting on the floor for the first 4 hours, dismissed her symptoms made her take Valium and discharged her with anxiety only to return in two days with the same symptoms she was given a bedside echogram and diagnosed with pericarditis.
After being referred to a cardiologist she under went alot of medical treatment including a CT brain scan, Heart MRI, coronary angiogram, several heart hotlers, echograms. She was diagnosed with pericarditis, enlarged heart, irregular heart beat and inflammation in her hearts left ventricle as well as left ventricle regurgitation. She has been put on a high dose of heart failure medication, colchicine and beta blockers to slow her incredibly high heart rate. She has lost the ability to look after our toddler alone, she can’t drive alone anymore, she can’t stand or walk for long and suffers from severe fatigue. Her quality of life is nearly at a zero.
On the 13th of December she was referred on to a professor in cardiology in a leading hospital in Sydney to continue her treatment which is a 3 hour drive from where we live.
Each time we have to go up which is 2-3 times a month we have to leave our toddler with family and due to the current climate, Jayde has to attend these treatments and appointments all alone, scared and afraid. She underwent nerve conduction studies and a autonomic study she has now also been diagnosed with Gillian Barre Syndrome and Dysautomia caused from the adverse reaction.
She hasn’t been able to return to work since, she has exhausted all her sick leave, annual leave, and our family savings and has been abandoned by the government. The costs of these appointments, tests, treatments and medications has already exceeded over $5500 and it has left our family in the toughest position we’ve ever faced.
