Hello all,
I am the mother of Jaydalin, who is a 15 y/o girl and was diagnosed with a VSD heart murmur and recently diagnosed with Juvenile Myoclonic Epilepsy. She has been seen by cardiologists, neurologists, and ophthalmologist specialists at Boston Children’s since she was two days old.
- Just recently, she’s been having multiple episodes of seizures, and the most recent, as of today 10/21/2026, had a seizure while bathing for school.
- She has had two heart surgeries and cataract eye surgery in both eyes.
- While insurance can only help so much, unfortunately, her Valtoco Rescue Can was not covered by insurance. While prior authorization is still in the works, unfortunately, not knowing when it will be approved has caused the fear of needing it and not being accessible to it devastating. Her rescue can is a little over $2000. With finances and responsibilities of keeping a home up and running, balancing work and a busy schedule, we ask if anyone can donate any amount to help with the costs of her medications.
- Jaydalin has just started her first year of high school, and as a teenager, she should be able to enjoy school and not worry about when the next seizure is coming on and live her life as a child.
I thank you all from the bottom of my heart for listening to her story and even just sharing the post means a lot to us! Thank you!
For those who can’t donate this way
please PM me Venmo, cashapp or Zelle.
xoxo
