Jayce was diagnosed with Stage 3 Rhabdomyosarcoma at 6 weeks old. Rhabdomyosarcoma is a rare and aggressive form of cancer that grows in the muscles. Jayce is currently 8 weeks old and due to his age and the complexity of his diagnosis, his care is being transferred to Children's Hospital of Philadelphia in Philadelphia, PA.

His next cycle of chemotherapy is scheduled for October 10th, 2025 in Philadelphia. We had a charity flight set up that was supposed to take us there, but this fell through at the last second. Flying a commercial airline from Southern California to Philadelphia would put Jayce at a significantly increased risk of illness due to his age and the fact that he is immunocompromised. Additionally, since he was diagnosed with cancer at such a young age, he was unable to get all of his required newborn vaccinations, which increases his risk of illness.

If Jayce gets sick, his chemotherapy treatments would be delayed. Since Rhabdomyosarcoma is an aggressive form cancer, it is imperative that his treatment continues without any interruptions.

A private charter flight to Philadelphia would cost approximately $35,000. Any funds donated through this GoFundMe will be used to pay the cost of this flight. Any additional funds will go to cover the costs associated with temporary housing that would sustain us until we are able to find a more permanent place to live in Philadelphia.
