My name is Hemamalini Radhakrishnan and I’m reaching out to you with a heartfelt plea.

I’ve known Geetha for more than 15 years. Geetha is a very hard working mother of three children, and she is the primary breadwinner of the family doing housekeeping work. Her husband is a handyman. Their oldest son Jayapandidurai who is 18 years old, had a dream of pursuing civil service but now battling with renal failure and currently under dialysis treatment 3 times a week.

Jayapandidurai is battling with kidney failure stage 5 and a kidney transplant is the only option for this boy to survive. Jayapandidurai’s dad is donating one of his kidney. But this family couldn’t afford the high medical costs of dialysis or kidney transplant. Kidney transplant is an expensive treatment and the estimated cost is around 12 lakhs (Indian rupees).

The goal is to raise $15000 USD to cover these expenses and give Jayapandidurai another chance to live and pursue his dreams. Every donation, no matter how small, brings us one step closer to saving the young boy’s life.
