Help Jay with restarting his life

Donation protected
Hello, my name is Rahiem, and I made this GoFundMe for Jay, who is online more commonly known as The Hyper Sloth. For the sake of keeping his online and personal identity separate, I will continue to refer to him as Jay. I myself have been a caretaker of The Grid (his online community), for about two years now, and I'm hoping with all my heart that setting up this GoFundMe for him could make the difference between becoming homeless and starting a new life.

What happened?
On the 11th of December, Jay got surprised by his fiancée of 12 years, who came home from her work with a moving truck to take away more or less everything in the apartment they shared. The reason for this is that she had been cheating on Jay for a few weeks (according to her, about 3 or 4 weeks), and decided to start a new life with the person she's been cheating on Jay with.

This essentially left Jay with nothing but his computer, internet for an unknown number of days, his cats Pua and Vixxie without cat food, and himself without any food either. Now, his main objective is to survive, and we, the members of his community, are all doing whatever we can to make sure he can recover and start up his life again after everything has been taken away from him.

What's needed?
At the moment, Jay has been blessed by a friend of his who could provide him with food for him and his cats for a few days, but there's still time needed to re-orient himself and pay for food and rent for this month. At this moment in time, he risks not being able to cover these, which will leave him and his cats without a roof over their heads.

This month's rent for his apartment (including water/electricity) is 800USD, and because he's left without any food for himself and his pets, he also needs some funds to be able to cover that. Jay also needs the internet and data for his phone to continue to look for help with his situation. Given these factors, We could alleviate him from this financial weight for this month if we can manage to reach €1000, which is about 1150USD. This would allow him to fully focus on restoring his life, without having to worry about being homeless in a week.

Are there any other ways to help?
Every single donation already helps a lot, and would mean the world to Jay. If you're unable to donate, but you're still willing to help, spreading this GoFundMe is the next very best thing that one could do. This would allow more people to see this, who could potentially contribute as well.

How can I be sure that the funds are going to Jay?
I'd like to verify my identity as Rahiem, a caretaker of The Grid discord server. My username in there is Ramen, but I go by either Ramen or Rahiem, whatever suits people best. My username is Ramen#9924, and I'm part of the Café Team, which moderates over the community to make sure the place stays warm and safe for everyone. The invite link to the server is https://discord.gg/RbXsske, so feel free to message me anytime, either in the server, or in private, for any questions you may have.

Something else I'd like to bring to light to help verify my identity is the youtube video that I provided on this GoFundMe page, where at timestamp 11:48, he says the following: "I'm transferring ownership of The Grid to my number one, second in command, Rahiem. He will be taking things over and making sure that the place stays safe, while I cannot fulfill my duties. And I'm going to survive." I've been in the chat of that video as well to make sure that nothing would escalate in there, given the sensitive nature of the video.

I'll make sure to prove in any way possible that these funds will end up in Jay's hands, so that he has some space to breathe in this mess, and so that he can pick himself back up again and restore his life. Thank you so much for your help, this really means the world to me, and this help would also be a godsend for him. I'll also be providing some social media links so that you can get a better look at him.
