My name is Jay Warren. I have a permanent partial disability (mistreated ankle injury) that makes it difficult to find work, and I've been out of a job for months.
EDIT: I thought I was finally set up with a new job at last, but they jerked me around repeatedly and finally just cut me off before I could even do it. I was supposed to start before the middle of the month, but due to problems on their end, my start date was rolled back repeatedly, ultimately to the 22nd. Worse, they had promised to hire for two shifts, daytime and swing, but swing shift (which I applied and was hired for) was delayed indefinitely. They offered mornings, which I had little choice to take, then fired me within only a few days for failing a quota. after barely training me an hour for the task, sometimes with conflicting advice depending on which supervisor I asked.
So now I have a single incomplete paycheck coming, am otherwise as bad off as before, and feel miserable both for being yanked around and angry at myself for letting it happen. I'm sorry to ask for help but I'm less safe than ever now.
