Hello Friends! I am creating this gofundme page for my spouse Jay, who has recently begun the strenuous and expensive process of receiving gender affirming care. While we are very grateful for the support and encouragement from our community, this process does take time and financial effort.
This includes filing their legal name change, updating their license, gender affirming hormone therapy and laser hair removal treatments. While this has been a joyous journey for us it has also come with financial difficulties as they make the transition to being their authentic self.
We ask for your help after many months of contemplation and would be extremely grateful for any donations made as it will help relieve the financial stress that comes with this process. Jay is one of the most compassionate humans I’ve had the privilege of knowing and deserves to receive the care that they advocate for others.
