On March 13th, 2026, at 1:30 in the afternoon, a severe storm with high winds caused a tree to fall on my brother-in-law Jay Spaulding's home, leaving it unlivable. Jay and his family are now facing the unimaginable challenge of being displaced from their home, unsure of when they will be able to return. The sudden loss has turned their world upside down, and they are currently staying in a hotel while they work toward rebuilding their lives.
While insurance will help with some of the costs, there are many expenses that won't be covered. The funds raised here will go directly toward helping Jay and his family with those uncovered costs—everything from daily living expenses to hotel stays and the essentials they need to get by. Every contribution, no matter the size, will help ease their burden and bring them one step closer to stability.
Dundee community and Monroe County, please let's come together to support Jay Spaulding and his family during this devastating time. Your kindness and generosity will mean the world to them as they navigate this difficult journey. Thank you for any help you can give.
