Remembering Jay Roth: Help His Family with Medical Bills

Jay was many things to many people. He was a great dad, a loving husband, and a wonderful friend to everyone around him. Jay had a large personality not easily described in words. His unwavering restlessness made him a man of many talents and hobbies. An ice cream experimentalist, seeker of High Points and creator of endless unfinished projects, he never tired of trying new things. Bad dad jokes, heated political debate, and the Iowa Hawkeyes (GO HAWKS!) were highlights of many conversations with him, and you would never find Jay without a carefully curated playlist to define the day. His laughter and wisdom were gifts to everyone who knew him, and he was always happy to lend a hand or an ear to anyone.

Jay passed in the early hours of April 17th, after a short and difficult struggle with pancreatic cancer. Jay deeply loved his family and will be greatly missed.
