Like many small business owners, I’m just one catastrophic event away from losing everything that’s important for comfortable, stress-free living. Equipment breakdowns are tough, but they’re part of the game. This morning, I woke up to the heartbreaking fact that someone had stolen my lawn mower—the most valuable piece of equipment I own, next to my truck. Without it, I’m completely dead in the water. I’m already paying off a truck repair bill and new tires, and now I have to deal with the loss of my mower. The future, especially my busy season, looks dismal for me and my business.
