My son-in-law Jay recently experienced a devastating setback when his car was totaled by a drunk driver while being parked outside their home. Luckily, no one, including the driver, was hurt. Despite having insurance, he was left with very little to put toward a replacement vehicle. We’ve been trying to work with the other driver’s insurance, but it's been a struggle. So far we have been told Jay could "maybe" get his deductible back since it wasn't his fault, but that could take 9 MONTHS!

We are raising funds to help Jay with a down payment on another car and cover ride share costs while he works toward getting back on the road. Reliable transportation is essential for Jay to maintain his job and get to class. Every bit of help will make a real difference in his life during this challenging time.
