Hi everyone,

My name is Jay! I am a black, disabled, queer, neurodivergent, and chronically ill student, activist, and advocate. I am reaching out to my community once again as I embark on the next major chapter of my education and advocacy work.

As many of you know, I live with Spastic Cerebral Palsy and other chronic conditions that require ongoing medical support. Despite these challenges, I am determined to continue my studies so I can better serve as a voice for marginalized communities. I am thrilled to share that I will be starting an online Master’s program this September!

While this is an incredible opportunity, it comes with significant financial hurdles. Balancing the costs of living on my own, and needing specialized care supports with academic expenses is a constant strain on my budget. To make this next step possible, I need help covering two critical areas:

Tuition for my Online Master's Program: This degree will allow me to deepen my expertise in activism and advocacy while accommodating my physical needs through a remote learning environment.

Housing Fees and Accessibility Needs: Ensuring I have a stable, accessible living situation is essential for me to focus on my studies and manage my health.
