Hi everyone,
My name is Jay! I am a black, disabled, queer, neurodivergent, and chronically ill student taking an BA Honours in Women and Gender Studies with a double minor in Disability Studies and Critical Race Studies. I exist as an activist and advocate by nature and trade, and I am reaching out for your support.
I am currently facing significant financial challenges covering my tuition and essential disability-related expenses.
Due to my Spastic Cerebral Palsy and other conditions, I have ongoing medical and support needs that put an added strain on my budget. Combined with the rising cost of tuition, it has become increasingly difficult for me to manage on my own.
Your generous contributions will directly help me to:
- Pay my tuition fees, enabling me to continue my education, pursue my dreams and help me graduate with my undergrad degree in June 2026
- Cover critical disability-related expenses: Purchasing a new commode chair, accessible transportation costs etc.
