Hi! My name is Jay (they/them), and I need your help! I am a 20 year old trans/genderfluid Afro-Latine writer and multidisciplinary artist. As much as I love creating art, I love learning even more. Even so, I had to make the difficult decision to leave my previous school after a heavy year following the unexpected loss of my grandfather and two of my best friends. Fortunately, I was recently accepted to my dream school, Marymount Manhattan College in New York City, as a Theatre Arts major with a concentration in Writing for Stage! As exciting as this is, the cost of attendance and housing in NYC is outside of what I'm able to afford. This is where you come in! This money will go towards tuition, housing, textbooks/materials, and basic living expenses.
