On June 20th, 2026, at 1:30 am, Jay and Chantel Volpe's lives changed forever when their home was destroyed by a devastating fire. Jay woke up feeling hot and quickly realized something was terribly wrong. He rushed through the house to get his family out, suffering second degree burns on his right arm and first degree burns on his left arm and both feet. Thankfully, Chantel, their daughters, and Jay's father Louis made it out safely. Tragically, all their beloved pets did not survive the fire.

The fire spread so quickly that the family had no time to save anything. Living in Cheney, KS, where firefighters are volunteers, it took 20 minutes for help to arrive as the family watched their home burn from outside. Now, Jay and Chantel are searching for a rental in Cheney and facing the daunting task of rebuilding their lives from scratch. They need support for furniture, essentials, and everything required to restore their dream home.
