Help Jay and His Family Recover from a Devastating Attack

Right before Christmas, the world turned upside down for my friend Michelle, her husband Jay, and their children.

Jay was attacked by a stray dog in downtown Coraopolis and suffered severe injuries—both arms were broken, and one hand was badly damaged. He’s required multiple surgeries, with more on the horizon.

Jay is a hardworking mechanic, so his family’s livelihood depends on his hands. It’s been a long road of recovery; he is still not able to work full-time, and his family is struggling to make ends meet.

Michelle wouldn’t permit me to start this fundraiser for her when I first offered. Instead, she took on the weight of the world, caring for Jay and their kids, navigating medical bills, legal challenges, and everyday life.

Despite her incredible efforts, the financial strain has proved overwhelming.
