My name is Connie, and I'm reaching out for help for my family—my husband Jay and our two boys. Over the past year and a half, we've faced challenges I never could have imagined. My husband had a pacemaker put in, only for us to discover after a long and difficult battle that he didn't need it. Thankfully, he was finally able to have it removed, but the journey took a heavy toll on our lives. We lost our home, my husband lost his job, and we found ourselves starting over with nothing.

Despite everything, I continue to work hard to support our family, but it's just not enough to cover all our needs. Our youngest is only 16 months old and still in diapers, and our oldest is 15. Every day is a struggle to provide the basics—diapers, wipes, food, and a safe place to live. My heart aches for my boys, who deserve stability and the chance to just be kids without worrying about where their next meal will come from or what bill we can afford to pay.

I'm not one to ask for help, but I'm swallowing my pride and doing this for my boys. Our story was even featured on WBRZ Channel 2 News. We're not looking to take advantage of anyone, and I kindly ask for no hateful comments. Anything you can give will help us get back on our feet, and we are truly grateful for your support.
