After getting permission from this sweet boy’s father, I have made them a GoFundMe.
Here’s their story:
Jaxon is an amazing, spirited, fun-loving 6-year-old with Arthrogryposis Multiplex Congenita, with contractions in multiple joints and clubfoot. Since he was born, Jaxon has undergone many surgeries, castings, braces, and much more to help with his condition. Though insurance does help, it does not cover things like gas, hotels, food, etc., when his father has to drive him from Central New York to Philadelphia. This trip will be once a week starting very soon. On top of that, Jaxon has needs like a gait trainer, shoes (one foot is smaller than the other, so it’s two pairs of shoes instead of one), special plates and utensils he can use, and much more to help him live life to the fullest and as independently as possible. Along with myself, his school, physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech therapy, Jaxon’s father strives to make this boy’s life as safe, comfortable, happy, and fun as possible. But funding is tight. So, I am asking our wonderful community for a little help to make dad’s life a little easier too. We appreciate anything that will help this family support Jaxon and his ongoing conditions. I want to personally thank anyone who donates to this very special family who not only has stolen my heart but the hearts of many others. So, thank you!
