Help Jaxon Recover from Stroke and Meningitis
Donation protected
Hi!
as many of you know Jaxon was born at 25 weeks. After a 4 month NICU stay we finally got to head home to big brother and all be together. Shortly after being home he began showing signs of being sick, which escalated quickly. We went to urgent care where Jaxon stopped breathing and we were rushed to Strong ED where they worked on him for hours to get him stable enough to be sent to the PICU. Upon further testing with lumbar punctures, head ultrasounds CTs and MRI it was determined Jaxon has bacterial meningitis. There are known uncommon side effects, and Jaxon has had every one. The MRI showed that Jaxon had a stroke on top of the excessive swelling in the brain. He will have a shunt placed in his head to regulate the pressure for the rest of his life. Joe and I have exhausted all of our paid time off from work and we hate asking anyone for anything, but with the medical bills and other essential to life bills we have no way to cover everything until we can figure out what the future holds for our family and the extent of the brain damage done to Jaxon. Even if you can’t donate, send us all some good vibes- we could use it
