Help Jaxon and His Mom Fight Cancer—Again
Jaxon has been bravely battling cancer for almost a year. He was diagnosed with stage IV sarcoma (undifferentiated small round blue cell tumor), a rare and aggressive form of cancer. Over the past year, Jaxon and his mom, Brianna, have endured an incredibly difficult journey—months of chemotherapy, countless hospitalizations, MRIs, CT scans, long stretches of isolation, and unimaginable pain.
Jaxon has already undergone:
• Major surgery to remove a kidney and the tumor attached to it
• Lung surgery to remove cancer and part of his lung
• Treatment and hospitalization for a collapsed lung
• Radiation therapy
Through it all, Brianna has been Jaxon’s only full-time caregiver. She is incredibly strong, loving, and resilient—facing every setback with courage and even a sense of humor. And Jaxon has been nothing short of a warrior.
Just as things were beginning to look up—and they were starting to plan for Jaxon’s return to school and Brianna’s return to work—Jaxon was diagnosed with a brain tumor.
He recently endured brain surgery and is now in recovery. But the fight isn’t over. Next steps include:
• A lumbar puncture
• More radiation
• More chemotherapy (possibly in San Diego)
Jaxon will continue to need full-time care, which means Brianna cannot return to work any time soon. This has created a huge financial strain.
