Hi, my name is Alex, and I’m asking for help on behalf of our beloved dog, Jax.

Jax is our 11-year-old husky — a loyal, playful, and loving part of our family. Recently, Jax had to undergo emergency **enterotomy surgery** after he ingested a piece of corn cob that caused a dangerous intestinal blockage. It was a terrifying and heartbreaking experience, but thankfully, the surgery was successful and Jax is now on the road to recovery.

As grateful as we are for the amazing veterinary care he received, the cost of the surgery, hospitalization, and ongoing aftercare has left us with a steep financial burden. We’re trying to raise $5,000 to help cover the expenses and give Jax the continued care he needs to fully recover.

Jax has been with us through thick and thin — he’s family. Seeing him in pain broke our hearts, and we’re doing everything we can to support his healing.
